Meet Vintage Daisy Photography

It's possible you've met Jamie Shook - photographer, wife, mother, and owner of Vintage Daisy Photography. Originally from the west coast, Jamie resides in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and works with clients all over the Charlotte metro area.

She's drawn to the small, simple things in life that oftentimes get overlooked. She finds that organic and imperfect are natural and beautiful; that it's in the middle of an ordinary, everyday moment that something magical can happen, if we only pause for a moment and take a look around us.

Photographing newborns, children, and families is her passion. Being part of a large family with more cousins than she can keep track of, Jamie has had plenty of hands-on experience - especially with little ones!

"I love to integrate fun, creative elements, and ideas onto a blank canvas that comes to life. I have found that many of the most beautiful shots happen spontaneously, so I like to have a well thought out plan, but allow enough flexibility for children and families to be who they are and interact naturally. That is where the magic is!"
