Anne Springs Close Greenway Celebrates The Great American Campout on June 24

The Anne Springs Close Greenway has planned another exciting outdoor adventure you don’t want to miss! Mark your calendar for The Great American Campout celebration at the Greenway on June 24!

Greenway staff will guide included activities, such as fishing, archery, kayaking, guided mountain bike rides, night hikes, and morning yoga. Campers will also have access to the fort-building area and the gaga ball pit. The Greenway will provide all-beef hotdogs with baked beans, potato salad and chips, along with s’mores for dessert.

Be sure to register in advance ($30 per person). Members receive a 20% discount, and children ages 3 and younger are free. You will want to bring a tent, breakfast, and other camping supplies. Bringing your dog? Don't forget waste bags and a leash. Remember to Leave No Trace when enjoying nature.

The National Wildlife Federation’s Great American Campout unites campers across the country. The event is intended to inspire people to camp responsibly and “come clean for earth.”
