Volunteers needed for new Fort Mill Study Hall initiative
When the pandemic forced schools to pivot to an A/B schedule, it resulted in some students not having a place to go on virtual days. Enter Fort Mill Study Hall, a multi-church and Fort Mill School District collaboration that offers educational support to at-risk FMSD middle school students. It's open every day in alignment with the FMSD calendar from 8am-3pm at the Forest Hill Fort Mill campus.
With the extension of the FMSD A/B schedule, they're in need of volunteers to help support and engage with the attendees - help them learn, play a game, eat lunch, and encourage them as they continue to learn in this pandemic. You do not need to be a teacher! You're just asked to help them learn to the best of your ability.
