Independence Day celebrations in and around Fort Mill

July 4th is nearly here and there are several events in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Tega Cay to enjoy with the whole family! From boat and land parades to live music and fireworks shows, listed below are fun ways to celebrate Independence Day all weekend long.
July 1-4 at various times and locations
Join the city of Tega Cay as they celebrate the 4th of July! An array of activities from July 1st to July 4th include a concert, food trucks, a water ski and boat show, a parade, and a fireworks show.
Saturday, July 1: "Let Freedom Ring" Independence Day Concert
6-10PM at Runde Park (DJ Brown followed by Gump Fiction at 7PM).
Bring the family, blanket or chairs for a fun night under the Carolina sky to enjoy live music, food and beer trucks, and a free kids zone (ages 3-13).

July 3, from 6-9:30PM at Walter Elisha Park
Join the Town of Fort Mill as it celebrates the nation’s 247th birthday and the Town’s 150th anniversary. Enjoy fun for the whole family including live music, food trucks, roving entertainment, and children activities. The firework show begins at 9:15PM.
July 3 from 5-10:00 PM on Rock Hill's Main Street and Caldwell Street
Enjoy live music, free inflatables, food trucks and beverages. Fireworks begin at 9:30PM (on the east side of downtown near Fountain Park).
July 4 at 9:30AM on Market Street
On Tuesday at 9:30AM, participate or enjoy Baxter's July 4th parade. To participate, decorate your car, golf cart, float, bike, scooter, you name it, and meet in the lot behind Killington's by 9AM. No sign-up needed.
To view the parade, line the route in Baxter Village Town Center, from Killington's and seven blocks south on Market St. to Sutton Rd. This parade has 150+ parade units, including the military, bands, bagpipers, shriner's performance units, clowns, classic cars, sports mascots, decorated units, street entertainers, fire departments, and more!
July 4 at 10AM on Fort Mill's Main Street
Enjoy the 51st annual Firing of the Cannons at 10AM on July 4th! There will be a special ceremony to commemorate the occasion, along with the honorary cannoneers.
July 4 from dusk until 9:30PM at Lake Wylie by the Buster Boyd Bridge
Gather around Lake Wylie's Buster Boyd Bridge for a range of fun perfect for the whole family! Enjoy food, activities, entertainment, and a firework show!

July 4 and July 5 at 10:30PM
Carowinds will be lighting up the night sky on July 4th and 5th! The patriotic celebration will be accompanied by an all-American soundtrack. The fireworks will be visible throughout the park, but the best viewing locations can be found in the Carolina Boardwalk, County Fair, and Celebration Plaza areas.
