Join us for the Fort Mill Veterans Day Ceremony!

Submitted by Jacona Hester-- Join the Town of Fort Mill as we host our Veterans Day Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10:30AM. The ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial located at 106 N. White Street in Fort Mill. The Town is proud to host this event to honor our veterans who have served in the United States Military.

The ceremony will include Mayor Guynn Savage, Fort Mill Town Council Members, South Carolina Strawberry Queen-Miss Brantley House, Fort Mill American Legion Post 43 and special music by Veteran Donald Cooke and Riverview Elementary School Music Director Billy Foxx.

The Guest Speaker for the event is Ltc. Col. Jonathan Baker, Commander 4-39th Infantry, Fort Jackson, SC. Other guests include Catawba Ridge High School NJROTC and Banks Trail Middle School 8th-grade student Sully Garrison. Organizations featured are Pawsitive Action-Service Dogs for Veterans and Zeta Phi Beta-Delta Xi Zeta Chapter of Rock Hill, who will hand out care packages to our veterans.

Knowledge Perk Coffee Co. will be at the event serving free coffee to veterans, their families, guests and attendees from 9:30AM-11:30AM.

Road Closures will begin at 9:00AM for N. White Street (Main-McCammon). The road will open back up around noon. Parking is available in Veterans Park lot.
