Rooted Rhythm: Anne Springs Close Greenway’s Summer Concert Series Returns May 8 with a New Name

Summer nights are about to sound a lot sweeter in Fort Mill as the Anne Springs Close Greenway’s much-loved summer concert tradition returns—this time with a new name: the Rooted Rhythm Music Series. Though the branding may be fresh, the experience remains as vibrant as ever.
Running every Thursday from May 8 through July 24, the series invites music lovers of all ages to gather at the Comporium Amphitheater (291 Dairy Barn Lane) for an evening of live music, local food, and family-friendly fun under a shady canopy of trees.
Gates open at 5PM, with food and beverage service starting at 5:30PM. Concerts run from 6-9PM, making it the perfect way to relax and soak in the summer atmosphere with friends, family, and fantastic regional performers.
“We’re excited to bring another season of live music to the Greenway under the Rooted Rhythm Music Series name,” said Chelsea Chesser, Outdoor Programs Director for the Greenway. “Though the branding has changed, the concert experience remains the same—a lively and welcoming community event with an incredible lineup of regional talent.”
For the past 12 years, Greenway-goers have gathered to enjoy music and memories at the Summer Concert Series. Now, all summer performances are being streamlined under the Rooted Rhythm name, but fans can still count on the same mix of party bands, tribute acts, country, classic rock, and more.

May 22: Petty Rewind (Tom Petty tribute)
May 29: Party Parrot Band (Jimmy Buffet tribute)
June 5: Carolina Barnburners (party band)
June 12: Tell Me Lies (Fleetwood Mac tribute)
June 19: Terence Young Project (party band)
June 26: 20 Ride (Zac Brown tribute)
July 3: No Concert
July 10: The Hitmen (party band)
July 17: Thurston Howell (Yacht rock)
July 24: Saddletramp (classic country)
Know Before You Go: Concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for lawn seating. No tents, glass containers, or outside alcohol are allowed, but well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! Parking is $5 per vehicle in a grass pasture, just a short walk to the amphitheater.
Food options will rotate monthly, and beverages (including beer and wine) will be available for purchase on-site.

Non-members: $7 per adult, $5 for children ages 5–12
Greenway members & kids under 4: Free
