The Town of Fort Mill transforms the former Hardee's restaurant into free parking
Fort Mill residents and visitors have reason to celebrate as the town embarks on a significant initiative to enhance the downtown experience.
The Town of Fort Mill recently announced that with the help of Town impact fees, it acquired the former Hardee's restaurant property at the intersection of Tom Hall and Springs Streets to address the need for additional parking facilities.
This is a strategic move by the Town to invest in the community's infrastructure and encourage patronage of local businesses while responding to the demands of the community.
With plans underway for the demolition of the existing structure, the transformed property is slated to provide upwards of 70 new free parking spaces, offering convenience and accessibility to those visiting downtown.
